CO2 has been the environmental bogeyman of the last 25 years. Green activists have been bemoaning the loss of global ice coverage, polar bear extinction, and rising sea levels etc.
THE LIE is that CO2 is an unnatural consequence of human civilisation, because it is easy to measure its effects, and blame all civilisations ills on CO2 as a pollutant.

THE TRUTH is anthropogenic CO2 has ballanced falling insolation and achieved the following positive effects.
1. Maintaining average global temperatures above 0degC Vostok

Terms like Sustainable and Renewable are commonly used to describe sources of materials and energy. They are commonly used in conversations relating to the environment and global warming. Multinational mining companies, government organisations and environmental groups alike will generally agree that the world is experiencing a “global transition to sustainable development" (http://www.riotinto.com/SustainableReview/).
